Serious traffic problems on the A14 today and best avoided if possible. An accident involving two lorries at Bar Hill near Cambridge is causing problems all round the area. Two lanes are closed East bound on the A14 but this is also causing problems on the A428 and in St Ives, Earith and on the A1198.

The road itself as been damage and repairs will be carried out this morning but delays are likely throughout the day. Best stay off these roads if you can today.
