So it was announced today that Circle have won the contract to run Hinchingbrooke hospital for the next seven years at least.

So now we know who how will this affect services.

The debt of the hospital is nearing £40million so drastic steps were needing to be taken and that is exactly what has happened!

If this works well it could shape the futrue landscape of the NHS. Circle already runs 2 NHS treatment centres, but a whole hospital is a big step up and I hope they can do a good job!

I for one will reserve judgment

After all what matters is the care of patients and the success of the hospital in terms of health care, not profit! Lets see!
