Jonathan Djanogly who hired a private detective to investigate colleagues in his local Conservative party will not face special meeting of local members.

Mr Djanogly has apologised to colleagues and Downing Street has said that he still has the support of the Prime Minister, David Cameron and the constituency committee has decided not to take the matter any further.

What do you think?

Typical of Us English, Politicians and Tories

Is it not typical of the us English and our political class and I my opinion the Conservative Party that despite local senior Conservative Party members, aides and his former agent having such a low opinion of our local MP Jonathan Djanogly that nothing will happen?

Mr Djanogly paid private eyes to investigate local party members, who said of him that he was lazy and poor politician and that they believe he lied about his expenses.

But now despite all the local talk of anger we are told that Mr Djanogly will not be invited to a special meeting and that all sides want to move on.
