A Huntingdon woman has been one of the first people to be named as an Olympic torchbearer for the iconic torches journey around the country before this summers games. Fiona Sheppard from Hilton is one of only 27 to be confirmed.

6,800 other torchbearers received conditional offers on Thursday via email, dependant on them accepting certain terms and conditions. Fiona doesn't know yet which 300 metres of the torches journey and was nominated by friends for her charity work.
