Did you know that Cambridgeshire pupils receive significantly less funding per head than pupils in most other counties in Britain. Clearly there are areas of the country where extra provision and funding are required but I thought that the Pupil Premium was designed to cover this difference between areas of the country.
An example: if the funding was equal across the country a school like Fenstanton and Hilton Primary School with around 270 pupil would receive about £100,000 extra to spend on education. That's a very big difference!
Does that seem right to you?
