Mugging In Huntingdon

A man was attacked by a group of would-be robbers as he walked through Huntingdon. The 20-year-old victim was walking home along Avenue Road at about 1am on Wednesday January 30 when he was approached by two men. He was threatened with a knife and asked to empty his pockets.
The victim ran off towards Aston Gardens. The men followed at first but then disappeared.
The first man is described as white, six foot tall, medium build and wearing a black hooded top and black tracksuit bottoms.
The second man is described as white, 5'10", medium build and wearing a black hooded top and black trousers.
DC James Howard, who is investigating, said: "I would like to hear from anyone who has any information about this robbery, particularly any witnesses who may have seen the attackers before or after the incident.
"The man may also have injuries from being struck by the victim as he tried to get away during the incident."
