Participants will get a chance to forage amongst the woodland and hedgerows of the nursery, collecting edible wild plants which will be cooked up and served as a delicious wild spring green soup to be enjoyed by all.
Ranger Amrita Huggins said: "Foraging is a great way to incorporate fresh seasonal vegetables into your diet without having to worry about cost, food miles or the impact of intensive agriculture. It's also a lovely way to appreciate the countryside and the changing seasons, as every habitat and time of year brings its own selection of edible wild foods to try."
To book a place, phone 01480 388910 as places are limited. Costs are £6 for adults and £3 for children aged 7 and upwards. For more information phone Amrita Huggins on 07748 623073.
