Following a recent crime and Anti-Social Behaviour spike experienced in the Oxmoor and Hartford area, several significant arrests have been made as a result of increased patrolling by local officers.

On 12/01/2012 Four (4) youths from the Oxmoor area were charged with a variety of offences including criminal damage, assault and public order arising from a disorder which occurred overnight on the 20th December 2011. They are all bailed to appear at Huntingdon Youth Court on 24th January 2012 and have bail conditions designed to curb their offending behaviour in the interim.

On 12/01/2012 a 29 year old male was arrested and charged following a break in at Huntingdon Regional College. He has been remanded in custody to appear at court.

Also on 12/01/2012 another youth was arrested and charged with vehicle interference after being spotted trying door handles of vehicles in Walnut Tree Drive by patrolling officers.

Increased uniform and plain clothes patrols of the Oxmoor and wider Huntingdon area will continue in order to catch and convict more offenders who are causing harm to your community.
