The financial year just finished saw us support the Alzheimer's Society as our charity of the year and we raised an amazing £5767.04 through a series of fund raising events, dressing up at nuns etc. I believe this is the most the club has ever raised for it's charity. So well done to everyone.

The photo shows last years Chairman, Geoff Hopcraft, Helen Silvester (former Fundraising Officer), Steve Dockerill, who nominated the Alzheimer's Society at last years AGM and Tori Bray-Whitworth, from the Alzheimer's Society collecting the cheque at the Black Bull pub at Brampton after many members had been on a club run.
Outgoing Chairman Geoff Hopcraft said Alzheimer's is "... a cause that touches so many people, including a number of members personally within BRJ, which perhaps explains the fantastic efforts that BRJ have put in in raising a record total for our annual charity – I am hugely proud of our achievements, and extend a huge thank you to everyone"
